Stadthotel Goldenes Schiff - Bad Ischl

The room with river views was a nice size and had central heating, an individual safe, and multi-channel TV. the bed was comfortable and we had a nice sized bathroom. the location was very central.

Just over an hour from Salzburg airport, this hotel is in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ischl and walking distance from the Kongress & TheaterHaus . The beautiful Zauner cafe' and shops are a few steps away. A very pleasant walk along the river, again on the doorstep, brings you to the cablecar for a spectacular trip to the top of the mountain. A very pleasant, clean hotel which offers a beautifully presented and varied breakfast.

The hotel's decor had a lovely traditional touch, with elegant furnishings and cozy sitting areas that made me feel right at home. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax and socialize. As a senior, I was pleased to find that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and elevators to help navigate between floors.

I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there.

Shower and bath poorly designed. Shower only is be desirable for older couple. Would be nice to haqve coffee maker in room and face cloths with towels

For the price we paid, we got very nice value. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a amazing view from the balcony. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, and the staff treated us like royalty.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety in the hot food options.

Perfect and beautiful location with a train station based minute walk from the venue. Downtown area.

Hotel located in the middle of the Salzgammergut area. So, I can travel to Salzburg, Hallstatt, st.Wolfgang in short journey. Hotel facility is excellent and the staff is quite friendly. Very beside the hotel there is small river and even u can hear the sound of the river flow. Excellent choice.

Hotel staff was very helpful. Wifi is fast and free. Parking free. Centrally located but quiet.

Nothing I did not like about the hotel. Comparing facilities and service other hotels we stayed in the region offered, I found the room a bit pricy, though.

Great service and a nicely air-conditioned room with a comfortable bed, all in a central location close to the train station and Kurpark.

Wifi annoying

It is a really nice hotel. Nice view and nice stuff. The breakfast is good too.

The only thing is my room is too hot and there isn't a fan or air condition. The bed sheet is not good quality which make me feel uncomfortable.
